About Complex Connections

Complex Connections is an exhibition and a communication platform. In building 208 on DTU’s Lyngby Campus, you can see an exhibition in which we present a series of stories from Chemistry, LIFE and Biotech at the Technical University of Denmark. In the exhibition, we draw upon the long and rich history of DTU, and connect it to the present and the future, as well as show how knowledge and technology are linked to politics, culture, the environment and people. Pop-up elements will also appear.

The exhibition is linked to this online universe, where you can read explanatory texts, watch videos and find teaching materials.

Complex Connections has been created in a collaboration between historians, teachers, researchers, students, architects, local players and many others. The exhibition is primarily aimed at DTU’s own students, who are the main users of building 208. We have attempted to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere, while also addressing challenging topics.

The project is led by History of Technology DTU in collaboration with DTU Campus Service.

The project is supported by the Aage and Johanne Louis-Hansen Foundation, the William Demant Foundation, the Otto Mønsted Foundation and the Augustinus Foundation.
